Ordered correct replacement parts (your online form helped to identify correct valves 2 had black dot on inside stem for back small burner 1 had red dot for larger front burner). locked stove, turned off gas, unplugged cord. removed knobs, 5 screws and front plate also removed L shaped plate below knobs for better access to comp. fittings. pulled off ignitior controls loosened compression fittings (hard to get wrench on nut but doable), removed screw holding valve to manifold. reversed order... Online chat here said that the oven sensor should be replaced. I got the feeling that was a bit off, so I went with my gut and ordered the thermostat as well. Replaced the sensor and that didn't fix it. Replaced the thermostat and it worked like a charm! Disappointed that they were overconfident in their answer and it would have taken me more days to fix - but, the products came in quickly (basically, next day) and were correct. With the help of Wendee and Karen, we finally figured out my model numbers and which parts where correct. I ordered the parts and all arrived the next day except for the Broiler element which arrived in 2 days. I installed the new Baking Element myself. Took longer to figure out which curcuit braker to turn off. In about 30 minutes I had a brand new Baking Element in my oven working perfectly. On the following day, I installed the Broiler Element. We ordered a new handle and two screws. The part was very easy to find and was in stock. Shipped out in 2 days and delivered by fed -ex. My teenage son put the handle on in less than 5 minutes. very easy. So happy we can finally use the oven again. Read more

The oven would not heat up but the broiler and stove top burners all worked so I replaced the igniter. The part arrived quicker than I expected - one day with regular shipping - and the repair also went much quicker than expected. After accessing the igniter I was able to unplug the plastic modular connection. Replaced the gas regulator and the oven igniter. It was not a very difficult repair.. most of the parts were easy to get to. The biggest challenge was disconnecting the gas hose from the regulator. It had "pipe dope" (sealant) on the threads. I reconnected with yellow gas pipe tape. Read more

First i called sears parts direct to order this part, because that is where i purchased my electric range. they had an outrageous price of $98. unbelievable to think that such a small piece of rubber could cost that much. i also called a few other parts dealers on other websites. they also had high prices. when i called appliance parts pros they cut the cost by 50%. i am not sure if i could have found a better price because i stopped there. it is exhausting and time consuming to have to compare... Replaced above parts, easy to do, looks like a new stove. Needed to pry open knob stem slot segments very slightly to remove broken plastic from previous knobs. Spreading stem slot metal sides too much and they will break. With slots cleaned out, pinch stem sides almost together for new knobs to slide on.
