Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam. This assembly includes the auger motor that rotates to push ice from the ice bucket through the dispenser chute. The motor drives the auger blade, breaking up clumped ice and moving it toward the dispenser opening when you press the ice lever or button.
