Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam. Found bad auger motor drive shaft, it was rounded on the end that goes into motor. While I was there I replaced the seal, auger (old one rusty) and coupler. The new auger is stainless steel (I believe and slightly longer) and should not corrode like old white one. If changing auger, make sure you put the assembly back together correctly (take a few pics of the old one and lay it out as taken apart). As always, parts arrived quickly. Read more
