The new gasket arrived in a box half the size of the gasket so the gasket was folded to fit into the box. I hung the new gasket up for a couple of hours and then just prior to installation used a hair dryer as per included instructions to soften the gasket and minimize minor wrinkles in the gasket. Followed directions on video, worked as advertised. The only trouble I had (if you can call it that) was with removing the door. I have a freezer on top not side by side. Its easier to take the door off a side by side. When doing one like mine it can be done with one person but it's nice to have an extra set of hands to hold the door in place when removing the bracket which is on the bottom, You can take the freezer door off if you want and work your way down to the fridge door but I didn't... The gasket on my freezer door was not holding the door closes. When the main door closed, the pressure which shifts to the freezer was popping the door open and it was not closing because the magnet had lost its' mojo. I watched the video for the replacement of the gasket on the freezer door and my experience was exactly the same. Gasket and liner arrived as planned. Clips were a day later. Used "hog ring" pliers to remove the clips, worked great. Pre-punched holes in the gasket did not match the original but the plastic liner did. Used an ice pick to punch the gasket and inserted the clips. This is a chest freezer, so install the hinge side first. Read more

Loosened the top half screws, pulled the old seal out, put new seal in, snugged top screws, repeated process for the bottom. Went well, no problems. Read more
