Ordered parts, removed top tray in freezer, popped the back inside freezer panel out removed and replaced fan, dampers and fan housing. Took about 15 minutes. Read more

The evaporator fan had stopped working and caused the entire area around it to ice up. No air flow was getting from the freezer to the fridge. I replaced the damper control (it was rusted, not sure if it was workign or not) and the evaporator fan. It was a very quick repair once I diagnosed the problem. The auger would not turn the dispenser because the screw threads were stripped. I could not re-thread it so I had to replace the entire motor assembly. The video your company provided was extremely helpful not only for fixing the problem but to give me the confidence to do it myself. Removed the freezer drawers, ice maker, and panel that the fan motor is attached to. Changed out the fan motor reinstalled everything and plugged it in, and presto. I had ordered the control board just in case but didn't need it. The fan motor wasn't the easier part to replace but it was the cheaper of the two. Because the old motor would run for just a short time I assumed that it wasn't sending a signal back to the control board telling it that it was running. I was right!! Read more

Removed back panel in freezer compartment. Held on by four hex head screws. Disconnected wire assembly from panel and then replaced evaporator fan motor on kitchen table. Evaporator fan motor is attached to back side of freezer panel by four hex head screws. Easy repair to do.It took me about 30 minutes to do the repair. Read more

Refrigerator was not cooling, but was continuously runing & freezer compartment was extremely cold. Determined that fan assembly that takes freezer air & circulates to the refrigerator didn't seem to be working. Determined that the fan assembly motor was not rotating. Easily found replacement on AppliancePartsPro.com. Received the part quickly (Impressive delivery time!).
