The tray was simple, pick up the old one, pop in the new one. The gasket for my refrigerator was almost as easy. When I received the part I opened it up and let it lay flat for about 3 days (probably overkill). The old gasket popped right out and the new one went in really easy. Replaced ice maker. Some confusion as to which part # it was as the model number cross reference shows the one I purchased was not for my model refrigerator when it actually was. Secondly, a few comments from others said the switch out was simple. Only 3 screws holding in the ice maker although one of the three was in a tight spot . That is technically true. The rubber seal/gasket was torn on our KitchenAid refrigerator right side door. I purchased the replacement and followed the directions/recommendations of how to prepare the new gasket for installation. When it's removed from the shipping box, it does have wrinkles and preparing it is a must. I set it out on our tile floor and then used a heat gun (low setting) to warm it up and massage it. It took me about 15 minutes, stopping and restarting as I let the rubber come back to it's desired shape.... Read more

After ordering the part, I first watched the video several times. Then I placed my phone on my workspace so that I could start and stop the video when following the step-by-step instructions. I had to purchase the whole glass and support for the drawer and throw out the old glass and everything but the support brackets from the original. Had to remove the support brackets from the original drawer support and install them on the new one. Easy job just a lot of wasted product for a small broken piece. Read more

Ordered the gasket first from Sears, but they sent me the wrong part, i.e. on the drawing on their web site the part was right (ADX73550621 - Refrigerator Door Gasket, Left), but when I received it - it was too small and didn't fit.
