The tray was simple, pick up the old one, pop in the new one. The gasket for my refrigerator was almost as easy. When I received the part I opened it up and let it lay flat for about 3 days (probably overkill). The old gasket popped right out and the new one went in really easy. The entire job took me about 10 minutes to do, no tools required. I do recommend that you start with corners and work your way to the middle of each side. I found that would prevent any stretching. I watched the video on replacing the switch on a side freezer where prying out to original switch did not look difficult. I then got on the floor and tried to pry out my switch. Had a terrible time (locking tab or switch body hardened with time?) and mangled the switch terribly and the upper panel of the freezer somewhat, but the switch did come out. Originally the dryer was squeaking a lot, so I purchased a new belt tensioner, but the original tensioner was an old-style no wheel tensioner, so that wasn't the source of the squeaking. After my layman's diagnosis (hope) of a bad micro switch to the ice dispenser (would not activate and dispense ice through the chute) I purchased the both the ice and water dispenser micro switches (kill two birds with one stone). Albeit the video attached to these parts may be helpful to some it was not applicable to my refrigerator, as you could not access it from the front by removing the exterior dispenser plate. Toughest part of this repair is figuring out how to get things apart. Amana doesn't provide you a repair manual showing how to disengage the various plastic covers. Initially disassembled the bottom freezer compartment so I could get to the evaporator coils; they were completely frozen in block of ice, restricting air flow to the fridge above. If you can't pull out the displacement pins on the crisper cover support clips that allow the wall to carry the weight of the cover, slides and drawer, you may need to push those pins in (they fall down the wall) to remove the clip. During the replacement of both front clips, I had one I could remove and one I had attempted to drill a tiny hole in to be able to pull the pin.
