This is the electronic phase control board that regulates the motor speed in a stand mixer. It adjusts power delivery to the motor based on the speed setting selected by the user. Replace this board if the mixer runs at only one speed, does not respond to speed adjustments, intermittently stops during operation, or fails to turn on entirely.
I replaced the Board-Phas and speed control plate since power was not making it to the motor. I figured out that it was probably a plugged pump hose, since the pump would run, it somtimes it drained and sometimes it didn't. This is a small mesh filter screen that fits inside the water inlet valve to catch sediment and debris from your household water supply before it enters the washer. Removed the old planetary and cleaned metal shavings from gears. Transferred the old axle/gear assembly onto the new planetary. Inserted the new (and expensive) screw for the main gear and torqued it very tight (as well as the original other four screws). Slid the new planetary gears together and re-inserted the holding pin. This small plastic clip secures the tine row guards or protective caps on the dishwasher's upper or lower dishrack. It keeps the vinyl guard strips in place so they can protect dishes from scratching and prevent the rack tines from rusting.
