Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

Dishwasher leaking from bottom or making grinding noise? The sump housing often cracks or wears out. Moderately difficult repair, about 45 minutes.
I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. Just unhook the drain hose and the wire connectors, twist off the turbidity sensor and waste motor, pull out the shims and the whole assemple comes up and out. This tube connects the water supply to the middle wash arm of the dishwasher, delivering pressurized water so the spray arm can spin and clean dishes on the upper rack. It runs vertically from the lower area of the tub up to the mid-level spray arm assembly. Replace this tube if the middle spray arm is not spinning, dishes on the upper rack are not getting clean, or if you notice leaks or cracks in the tube.
Part was updated from original equipment (3 pieces) to a one piece tube. Snip the top of hanger loop then install. Just a couple minute job. Updated tube is much better than the original design. Read more

This is a black control panel with integrated touchpad used to select wash cycles and operate the dishwasher. It mounts on the front of the dishwasher door and houses the buttons or touch-sensitive controls for cycle selection, delay start, and other settings. Replace this part if the touchpad is unresponsive, buttons no longer work, the display is blank, or the panel shows visible cracking or damage.
