Leaking from the bottom or center of your dishwasher? The sump housing with included shaft seal often fixes this issue. DIY-friendly with video guide.
DIY, changed motor and sump. Put a dab of valve lubricant on seal. Wet outer seal of sump to get it to seat in bottom of tub. Cleaned electrical connectors corroded by leak. Coated connectors with dielectric grease. Had to buy additional clamp. Two clamps came in the sump package but both fit the smaller hose only. Neither fit the large hose. I wish the correct clamps were included. Home improvement store clamp is a little too wide to fit between ridges in large hose. Read more

Although we had a service contract with Sears I elected to take a quick look to see what was wrong. The PC board was bigger than the original so had to modify the mounts, the pump and rotor are pretty straight forward but would have much easier with another pair of hands. It took about 2 hours start to finish. One and a half days to get the parts, fantastic service. A new dishwasher is $1300.00. the parts were $314.00, so more than worth fixing. Read more

I replaced the fuse and that fixed the issue. However, the door handle broke when removing the front panel. I ordered replacement parts that worked perfectly. I would be remiss if I didn't give the APP's customer service a shout-out. I never got the parts that FedEx said they delivered.
