I do not have the auto ice feature in my fridge. I have to depend on the old fashion ice cube trays. Removed the old one and replaced it with Appliance Parts Pros ice maker. Result...#ice! This was for a bottom freezer model, which required removing the freezer door to be able to access the icemaker. Once I was able to crawl into the freezer by lying on the floor the actual removal and replacement was relatively easy. Read more

After doing all the tests to determine the problem it turned out that it was likely the motor in the ice maker. Rather than fix the immediate problem with a new motor and for just a few dollars more since they're prone to failure anyway, I eliminated potentially future problems by just replacing the whole ice maker. Money well spent and my part arrived the day after I ordered it. Read more

I ordered a complete new bin with everything in it attached already. All I had to do was wash it and set it in the compartment on freezer door. Within a couple hours, I had ice again. Easy fix. Read more

Found bad auger motor drive shaft, it was rounded on the end that goes into motor. While I was there I replaced the seal, auger (old one rusty) and coupler. The new auger is stainless steel (I believe and slightly longer) and should not corrode like old white one. If changing auger, make sure you put the assembly back together correctly (take a few pics of the old one and lay it out as taken apart). As always, parts arrived quickly. Read more
