Dryer not heating? A blown thermal cut-off is a common cause. This safety fuse opens if overheating occurs. Test with a multimeter for continuity.
The first part we ordered was the heating element. The dryer still wasn't heating so we ordered the thermostat. We received the thermostat, and got it put in the dryer still wasn't heating so I consulted my dryer manual and found out that even though there was electric to the dryer it still might not heat if the breaker was not all the way on, so I reset the breaker and voilà had heat.
