This lower extension handle replaces a cracked, loose or missing lower door handle section so the appliance door has a secure, finished grip. It restores proper handle alignment and appearance on compatible Whirlpool doors. What it does:

Replaces the lower section of a split or two-piece door handle assembly
Provides a secure gripping surface when the original is damaged or broken
Helps stop loose, wobbly handle feel caused by worn or cracked extensions
Restores the finished exterior look where the lower handle was chipped or missing

What's included: One lower extension handle (bisque) — only the part explicitly shown. Install notes:

Designed to attach to the existing upper handle section; keep all original fasteners unless replacement fasteners are specified
Basic hand tools typically required; follow OEM instructions for removing the door trim or handle covers if needed
Disconnect power to the appliance (unplug or shut off breaker) before working near electrical components or light assemblies
Do not force or overtighten fasteners; inspect fit before final tightening to avoid cracking the plastic
