Pulled out old parts, and swapped with new. New seals needed to be warmed up with a hair dryer to get wrinkles out from shipping, but that was simple as well. With my fridge, there was also a secondary piece on the door which needed to be removed with a screw. Took some extra time to give all those surfaces on the fridge a much needed cleaning while the seals were off. New seals fit perfectly and the replacement was simple- video provided on the website was also helpful. Read more

Replaced the water tube that went from the plastic tubing to the ice cube tray. Found that even though it was the same exact length as the original, there was only an extremely small gap from the end of the tube to a splash board. This may have been the root cause of my problems. Read more

My Whirlpool refrigerator model GSS26C4XXF03 door wouldn’t swing shut all the way like it used to. So I changed the two lower cams. This cam #WPW10257203 was a perfect match but I needed to change the matching cam on the hinge, also, which require some modification to fit (I ordered cam #W11311687). The whole thing would have taken less than 15 minutes if I didn’t have to modify the other cam. Read more

Replaced both primary and secondary water valves to make sure I fixed the problem. Both valves have to open when you function the water dispenser and when the ice maker tray needs refilling. YouTube video was a great help and let me know that I had to lengthen one hose. The video showed me the exact parts I needed to lengthen the hose. YouTube video also let me know that I had needed to transfer the internal springs in the hoses when I cut the old connections off. Never would have known... Read more
