Needed new light Christine M. • Blountville , TN • December 12, 2015
It wasn't easy because this microwave over-the-stove light was difficult to find at a reasonable price. However, I did find one at AppliancePartsPros.com. Since the price was so reasonable, I bought 4 bulbs plus an interior light bulb and paid the same shipping price for all. Everything works great.

Ordered new bulbs and sockets. Replaced the old with new and it now works as expected. Just sad that the sockets can't be made to last longer than a year due to the heat they are subjected to above the range.

Dual light sockets underneath the microwave needed repair/replacement David H. • Orlando , FL • December 18, 2015
Our microwave is mounted over the range, and has dual lights underneath that light up the range. A while back in trying to replace burned out bulbs, one of the bulbs broke and in trying to remove the rest of the bulb from the socket, I accidentally destroyed the socket. We worked fine with the remaining bulb for a year or so, but it finally burned out. Unfortunately all of the replacement bulbs would only last 1-2 days before burning out again in the one socket. When I'd originally destroyed...

Burned out bulb in microwave portion of fpmc2785kfa combo oven Ronald L. • Acworth , GA • June 02, 2014
Other than the indignity of having to buy a $28.00 bulb!! Installation required pulling the entire unit out of the wall and removing the sheet metal cabinet from around the microwave. All the fasteners were Phillips head screws except two, which were pin in Torx security type heads. REALLY? Requiring me to drive to Harbor Freight and spend an additional $6.00 for a 33 piece set to get the ONE size I needed. Buyer Beware!!! When shopping make sure the microwave unit has a bulb you can access...

Bulb under ge profile burned out after 13 years William D. • Raleigh , NC • November 09, 2014
AppliancePartsPros helped me find the model and serial number which led to the part number for the bulb. Shipping was $6 so I bought 2 bulbs -- each a tiny glass envelope with two pins sticking out.
