Since the price was so reasonable, I bought 4 bulbs plus an interior light bulb and paid the same shipping price for all. Everything works great.

Ordered new bulbs and sockets. Replaced the old with new and it now works as expected. Just sad that the sockets can't be made to last longer than a year due to the heat they are subjected to above the range.

Pretty easy fix. Took out 7-8 screws to remove cover for access to light. 2 were security type screws so I had to run to the hardware store to buy a special screwdriver. One screw to remove the bulb.

Other than the indignity of having to buy a $28.00 bulb!! Installation required pulling the entire unit out of the wall and removing the sheet metal cabinet from around the microwave. All the fasteners were Phillips head screws except two, which were pin in Torx security type heads. REALLY?
