1. I ordered a new burner. It didn't fix it. 2. I ordered a new burner switch. It didn't fix it. But still needed to be replaced because I cold see itt had burned out. 3. I checked the wires to the burner, then to the switch, they were all fine. I probably should have done this first. My last possible solution was the simmer switch board. My induction slide-in range was getting an E15 error code. First thing to do is look in the service manual, which should be in a plastic pocket at the back of the oven. I eventually did do that, but first I googled it. First, power cycle the stove, i.e. turn off the breaker, wait a minute, then turn it back on. That fixed it for a few months, but then it started doing it again, except now it only took a minute for the oven to beep E15 after turning the breaker back on. The service manual... Read more

I needed to replace the light bulb in the oven, but forgot to turn off the breaker and unplug the oven (NEVER DO THIS)!!! There was a spark, and my control board was fried. The range top worked fine, so I knew if was the control board (if you no longer see the digital clock and none of the buttons are responsive, it's a pretty good indicator that it's toast).
