I could have reused the old one because I turned out to be able to remove it without damaging it. I just kept it in case I damage the new one in the future. I purchased a new igniter for the bake assembly and found that it, unfortunately, did not resolve my problem. I measured the resistance of the different points on the gas valve and it was reading within spec so I then purchased this spark module and it did the trick.
My gas range is a Kitchenaid kgsk901sss02. I had a LOT of trouble finding where the spark module is located, and eventually found a schematic that shows it's location behind the front control panel of the oven.

I followed troubleshooting guide and repair videos offered on website, ordered replacement oven control board and reinstalled unit using only a 1/4 inch nut driver. Easy fix for do it yourselfer in 15-20 minutes. Make certain to have model number of appliance when ordering. Parts are somewhat pricey but AppliancePartsPros. were much more reasonable than local parts supply houses or other sources plus they offered 1 year replacement even on electrical stuff.
