Rather than replacing the whole ignition switch harness, I cut out the broken switch and replaced it with Burner Ignition Switch WB24K10017 / AP2632529. Wire stripper, small wire nuts, and electrical tape were also used.
At first, the new switch was constantly on when the knob was in the off position. The gas valve shaft has a "U" shape. When the U is right side up, the gas is off and so should the igniter. The gas valve shaft position couldn't be changed, so instead, I re-mounted the...

Ordered a new switch (4456027) from you. You seemed to have the best price and guaranteed that it was a OEM part -not everybody did. I had repaired Jenn Air cook tops before so I thought this was not a problem. Wrong. Mostly it was my own stupidity. I exchanged the wires from the old switch to the new one at a time but did write down where the original wires went. Flipped the breakers back on. Only one heater got hot. Replaced igniter under each burner knob. Used needle nose pliers to remove the electrical connections (2) of the igniter then slipped it off the gas valve shaft. Replaced with new igniter (click in place) and replaced electrical connectors. Took about 15 minutes to complete.

This replacement part looks nothing like the original because the original is two parts, the replacement is one part. The original has a switch with 3 wires coming out of it that go into a "block" screwed to the bottom tray. And this "block" has 2 wires that come out of it going to the fan. With the replacement, the block is eliminated and the 2 wires go directly to the switch. Easy install.
