Part Number: WB21X36771
The Infinite Heat Switch Kit is an OEM part for GE ranges and cooktops. This kit is essential for controlling the temperature of the burners on your range or cooktop, allowing you to adjust the heat level from low to high.
Causes of damage to the infinite heat switch can include normal wear and tear from frequent use, electrical issues such as short circuits or power surges, and physical damage from cleaning or impact.
Symptoms of a bad Infinite Heat Switch include:
- Burners not heating to the desired temperature, either staying too hot or not getting hot enough.
- The burner not turning on at all, indicating a possible failure in the switch's electrical contacts or circuit.
- Inconsistent cooking temperatures, where the burner cycles on and off too frequently or not often enough, affecting cooking performance.
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Had previously replaced one burner control because the burner indicator light stayed on William A. • Dodge Center , MN • July 13, 2015
I replaced all 3 remaining burner controls because they were all original (mid 1970s GE electric range w/coil burners), and one of the controls occasionally made arcing sounds when cycling the burner on and off. If a control is making odd noises - more than just a quiet metallic clicking
as it cycles - it should be replaced.
I'm assuming you have experience with the tools needed and can do simple mechanical assembly or disassembly, but have not previously worked with electrical equipment of...

After removing the top rear access panel, I took as-built photographs of the two components to be replaced showing all wires, connectors and screws!
The Energy Regulator for the front left burner was replaced first, noting the orientation before pulling off the knob, and removing the retaining screws. I used long nose pliers to gently remove one lead at a time and reconnect to the new regulator. Checked orientation against the photo, reinstalled regulator and knob.

We sent an email to AppliancePartsPros.com asking for their help in fixing our range. We gave them the model number (NE58F9500SS) of our Samsung Electric Range and told them about the faulty/dangerous two dual burners. Microwave needed new door switches Marie W. • Columbus , OH • March 01, 2017
I'm a 56 year old divorced woman. I started doing these kinds of repairs to save some money and honestly, to see if I could. So yes, if I can do it, it's not that tough to do. My microwave is built in above the stove - getting it down and back up was the hardest part of the job. An extra pair of strong hands really helps-for anybody, not just a 56 year old woman. The actual repair was pretty easy. Most likely problem was pretty obvious after a little research. Easy to take off cover, get...
