Refrigerator would not stay on. Rick D. • Salinas , CA • December 09, 2021
Replaced the main circuit board, evaporator fan motor, and power supply.
Probably did not need to change the power supply but did so just to be safe.
Replaced the fan motor because I was advised it could be the cause of the circuit board failure.
Got a rebuilt main circuit from Circuit Board Medic because new ones are no longer available.

Part Number: 241739709
A replacement PUR-BETA control module that restores control for the refrigerator's PUR water/dispense/filter functions so the dispenser, filter status and related signals operate properly. What it does:
- Manages electronic signals for the PUR filtration and dispenser circuitry
- Communicates filter status and reset information to the fridge control system
- Controls/coordinates water and dispenser-related functions tied to the PUR system
- Common symptoms of a failing module include unresponsive water/ice dispenser, persistent filter-status light, or intermittent dispenser operation
What's included: One PUR-BETA control module. Install notes:
- Always disconnect power (and water supply when applicable) before servicing to avoid shock or water damage
- Handle the module carefully and avoid static discharge; use a grounded wrist strap if available
- Some panel removal and connector unplugging is required; keep track of screws and connectors

Inverter needed to be replaced Gretchen V. • Chula Vista , CA • March 05, 2016
The fridge had power but neither side would cool. I took the inverter out which was only time consuming considering novice experience. I found the part here and purchased it with regular shipping and it arrived the NEXT DAY! How awesome it that! I was a little worried it would be the wrong $200 part , but since you can return it within 365 days I felt better. I put all the wires back together and bolted it back on, turned it on and it started cooling right away!
