Easy to remove the metal parts from the old bin. The only problem was that the screw that holds the adapter has red thread locker and screwdriver rounded off the head of the screw. Drilled the screw and heated the screw to loosen the thread locker and used an ease out to remove the screw.

This is the second time of needing repair. I remove the ice bucket, open the crusher, remove the 5 blades. Straighten the blades, reinstall. I then order new blades, The next time it happens I will install the new blades. The reason for the malfunction, (my guess), two ice cubes partially melted stick together and the size and angel the enter crusher cause the problem. The ice maker stopped producing ice. The motor just made a periodic spinning noise and the ice maker never filled with water. I ordered a replacement ice maker and the valve just in case. I just ended up replacing the ice maker, which is just two screws and a plug. A couple hours later, the new Ice maker was making ice as good as new.
