It is a very easy fix. Just pull out old Ice Container Assy and replace with new one.

What's included: Ice maker assembly, ice bin, water inlet valve, fill tube, internal water tubing, wiring harness, and mounting hardware.
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before starting; wear cut-resistant gloves
- Mount the icemaker and bin in the freezer; route/seat the fill tube correctly to prevent leaks
- Install the inlet valve, connect tubing and harnesses, and tighten 1/4-in compression fittings; turn on water and check all joints for leaks
- Restore power; allow the freezer to reach temperature and up to 24 hours for full ice production, discarding the first batches

Easy to remove the metal parts from the old bin. The only problem was that the screw that holds the adapter has red thread locker and screwdriver rounded off the head of the screw. Drilled the screw and heated the screw to loosen the thread locker and used an ease out to remove the screw.

The ice maker stopped producing ice. The motor just made a periodic spinning noise and the ice maker never filled with water. I ordered a replacement ice maker and the valve just in case. I just ended up replacing the ice maker, which is just two screws and a plug. A couple hours later, the new Ice maker was making ice as good as new.
