Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam. Easy to replace with the shield and paddle assembly. Steps are: 1. use a flat head screwdriver to push the tabs at the base of the control panel. remove the wire connectors by gently prying them straight off. 2. remove the 4 phillips screws holding in the old assembly. 3. Install the new assembly by carefully putting the paddle behind the water pipe that sticks out. You may have to push the paddle one way to get it around the pipe and then back into place. 4. reinstall the screws. 5. reconnect... Read more

After cleaning the seal the freezer continued to build frost so I started searching for a replacement freezer door seal. After replacing the filter and that not fixing it, I tried other things that ultimately led me to suspect the filter housing. Filter housing is fairly simple with mechanical bypass valve disengaged when you insert the filter. Valve would allow water to flow without filter but placing filter cutoff water completely. I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws.
