Fix burners that won't turn off, stay on high, or turn on by themselves. This surface element switch restores safe temperature control. 15-minute DIY fix.
We sent an email to AppliancePartsPros.com asking for their help in fixing our range. We gave them the model number (NE58F9500SS) of our Samsung Electric Range and told them about the faulty/dangerous two dual burners. We hated to get close to the range because the burners would turn on if you barely brushed by the range or if you would reach across it and accidentally touch the burner knobs all of a sudden you would feel heat or just see the light indicating the burner was on. We were... Read more

Replace your cracked, broken, or missing refrigerator door bin guard. This clear plastic guard secures items in door shelves and prevents spills.
To Whom It May Concern: The milk tray broke and fell out of the door of my Samsung RS267LASH model refrigerator at 2:00 p.m. on December 23. With company arriving for Christmas, I scrambled to find a replacement. First, I checked the part number on the bottom of the tray. Next, after navigating my browser to my usual parts source URL – a certain large, global auction site – I learned that the original part had been discontinued, but that I could have a “retired” replacement tray for... Freezer not cooling or fridge showing fan error? Your evaporator fan motor may have failed. This motor circulates cold air throughout your refrigerator.
The blower motor that circulates air through the refrigerator was broken. I had to remove all the shelving and drawers from the refrigerator. Then I had to remove the plastic light cover from the center of the fridge. Then I removed all visible screws to uncover the evaporator/radiator. I then unplugged the light bulb and motor wires. Luckily all wiring is keyed so that it can be plugged in again without error. I removed the motor by opening the motor housing. The housing has 1 screw and... Read more

Microwave not heating food? A faulty high voltage diode disrupts power conversion. Common DIY repair requiring discharge safety and multimeter testing.
After dismounting the unit from its wall-hanging bracket, the most tedious part of the repair was removing over a dozen screws holding the cover in place from the top, bottom, and both sides. Fortunately, I had placed the unit on a bench that allowed me to slide the unit allowing access to the screws on the bottom edges of the unit. Always discharge the capacitor before continuing to work on the unit by discharging the capacitor by shorting the contact without the diode to ground. Access to the... Read more

Lower door hinge assembly for side-by-side refrigerators. Mounts to the cabinet bottom to support and pivot the door. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn.

Bought the entire hinge assembly and upper cam riser also (attached to the bottom of the door). Replaced both with the help of Youtube videos. Repair took approximately 15 minutes and I probably saved $100-$150! Read more
