I checked continuity at the float switch since I knew the inlet valve was working when direct wired to 120v. Switch did not have continuity. Replaced switch and inlet valve worked at start of cycle. Read more

After watching a youtube video, I disassembled the front cover on the cooktop (be sure to turn off the power supply). I then switched the potentiometers on two burners. The burner that was not working now worked and the burner that did work did not. Easy to find the culprit....ordered a new potentiometer from here and though I only got regular shipping, it was actually delivered the NEXT DAY! 5 minutes, put in the new part, and all burners work. I have a Whirlpool Side-by-side Model ED22PWXBW01. A year ago, the ice cubes started freezing together in the rear of the ice bin for no apparent reason. My 18+ year old Jennair cooktop, PN CCG2520W was in need of a rebuild b/c of a welded venturi tube on the right front [RF] burner. Replaced the main control board on a Thermador oven model POD301J/01 after we got an E115 error and the top broiler would come on no matter what setting you put it on and wouldn't turn off and would overheat.
