I ordered the timer and knob on Monday, they arrived around noon on Tuesday, and within an hour I had them installed and back in business. I was amazed how quickly the parts got here. The online video showing the procedure step by step was very helpful. Instead of disconnecting all the wires and having to keep up with which one went where, I moved each wire one by one and made sure I didn't get any of them in the wrong place. This repair could have killed or maimed me -- really! Left door spring snapped. Online search, APP was only source with both door spring and linkage. Discovered link for APP repair-instruction video (not very well marked on parts page). This well-done video really helped build my confidence. I wasn’t sure where I could get parts for the fridge, Google brought me here. Super easy to look up model #’s and locate parts by type/location with the appliance map. I needed to change the racks and the doorstop. The racks were super simple. It was really easy. I found the part number using an online search, ordered the shelf and just inserted the ends into the holes in the freezer walls. Fortunately, I read on a question and answer forum that four end caps were also required. This detail was not listed in the shelf description so knowing this, I was able to order the caps along with the shelf and avoid having to place a second order once I got the shelf and discovered that I needed the end caps. I ordered a refrigerator door hinge, hinge pin, and washer. The descriptions and pictures imply that these items are sold separately. However, the hinge I received was an assembly that included a pin and washer. I replaced the original hinge assembly with the new assembly, but the door still sagged (not as badly as before). After receiving my new shelf I unscrewed the old meat drawer track from the unit. Using the same screws and track i was able to seamlessly attach both to the new shelf. My meat drawer fit perfectly and I was able to install the new shelf unit into my refrigerator within minutes. Read more

Replaced the old valve with a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. I watched one of the YouTube videos to get an idea of what the process would entail. I gathered the tools I would require, plus a work light. The repair/replacement went pretty good. One thing the video I watched didn't cover was adjusting the valve for a propane system. I compared my old valve to the new one and saw that I would have to screw down the oven gas outlet until it "bottomed out". Read more
