This is the detergent dispenser assembly that mounts inside the dishwasher door and holds both liquid and powder detergent as well as rinse aid. It controls the timed release of detergent during the wash cycle. Replace this part if the dispenser door fails to open during the cycle, detergent remains in the cup after washing, or dishes are coming out dirty due to soap not being dispensed properly.
