Replacement lid hinge for top-load washers. Mounts between the lid and cabinet. Replace when bent, twisted, rusted through, or cracked from wear.
I replaced a broken part which attaches the hinge to the lid spring assembly and replaced both hinges which were twisted/bent. The springs themselves were ok but a part in the assembly had broken so one spring was shouldering the entire weight of the lid and the hinges had twisted. This machine is not that old and it seems as though the glass lid is a little too heavy for the hinges. I was very impressed with how easy it was to locate the replacement parts online and how fast they showed up. Read more

Washer won't fill properly or overfills? This water level pressure switch senses fill levels and signals when to stop. Easy DIY fix for cycle timing issues.
I found that turning the water level switch back and forth would activate the machine So I replaced the water level switch and the plastic hose that connected to it. I purchased a clamp in the purchase, but it was the wrong size! There wasn't a clamp used in the original set up, so I installed the switch and hose without it! It was the video instructions and having the correct parts that made that made this a easy repair! Thank You Read more

I removed the top panel of the washer and removed the front console. since I could not order the button I was forced to order the console. you did a terrific job on taking my order and shipping it within the same day. I paid extra for the one day service and received my part around 630 pm because it is a residence.( I only wish they would have delivered it before noon with one day service) Once I unpacked the part it took me between 15 to 30 minutes to install. If your washer agitator spins freely or clothes aren't agitating properly, this assembly restores the back-and-forth motion. DIY repair in 10-30 minutes.
The bolt that holds the agitator and the agitator cam was rusted in place so it made the project way more difficult than it should have been. Had to cut the agitator off the shaft and cut the head of the frozen bolt off. Thankfully, Appliance Pros had all three parts I needed. Once the parts arrived it only took ten minutes to fix. Since the house was going to be full for Christmas, the fast shipping really, really helped. Was able to get it done before the guests arrived. Read more

If your washer won't saturate loads or has weak cleaning, the recirculation pump may have failed. This pump moves water through the wash circuit.
Very simple repair really. Unplugged the washer, moved the washer in order to have access to the back panel. Remove 13 #20 torx screws holding the back panel on ; then removed back panel. Open the filter access on the front bottom of the washer to drain any remaining water, be sure to have a towel ready, as if the pump is bad, there's bound to be quite a bit. Looking at the washer from the back, the bottom left contained the pump. Remkve the two electric connectors and move out of the way.... Read more

Washer won't advance cycles or stops mid-cycle? Timer controls cycle progression. DIY repair if timer knob doesn't advance washing stages properly.
The most challenging part of this was determining what the problem was. At first I thought the clutch (or related parts) had worn out, but by chance, I pulled on the timer knob, and the machine started spinning. When I let it go, it stopped. So clearly the spinning part worked. Then I watched a few videos about repairing a bad timer and determined that it was the likely culprit. I ordered the part. It was very simple to replace. And it worked perfectly. Saved me hundreds either in... Read more
