Replaces cracked or broken washer lid hinge. Supports smooth opening and closing of the top-load washer lid. Female hinge end for washer cabinet.
The greatest thing about Appliance Parts Pros is that when I ordered the part, I watched the 2 minute video on how replace it. When the part arrived, the next day by the way, I simply did as the video did. I love this site! I've repaired my washer and dryer and saved so much money simply by watching these videos and ordering the part. Customer service is amazing as well. They have always given me the correct information and I've never had to wait longer than a couple of minutes for... Read more
Fridge warm but freezer cold? Frost buildup on coils? Your defrost timer may be failing. This control manages automatic defrost cycles. 15-min DIY fix.
I am not new to APP, fixed a tub belt on a Maytag dryer in the past. My frig started getting warm so I went onto to one of those "lists" sites and found a appliance repair place. The guys were great and came out right away. The tech said it was the cold control and $260 later my part was replaced, about 30 minutes. Great I thought until my frig started getting warm again. Those cold sensors on the beer bottles are a great indicator. Not wanting to spend another $260 I looked up on APP to see if... Read more

Replacement door compartment cover for refrigerator dairy or deli sections. Installs on the inner door to replace cracked, broken, or missing covers.
Ordered a replacement from AppliancePartsPros.com. I was shocked at how fast it arrived after ordering (only 2 or 3 days with regular shipping). My usual experience with parts suppliers is a lengthy "fulfillment" time before the item even ships. Read more
Replacement water filter cover for refrigerators. Snaps into place to protect and secure the water filter. Replace if cracked, broken, or latch damaged.
I changed the filter since it had been a long time since last being installed. Still no ice. I used a hair dryer to warm the water line entering the top of the ice maker in case it was frozen. Still no ice. I then ordered and replaced the water inlet valve. Still no ice. I then ordered and installed the ice maker motor module by following the replacement video that was provided when I ordered the part. After the wiring harness was reattached I heard the tray begin to fill with water. We... Read more
Fix loud grinding or clicking noises during drain cycle. This washer drain pump removes water from the tub. Moderate DIY repair, typically 30-45 minutes.
18 year old Maytag Atlantis top load washer had a load knocking and rattle sound with excessive vibration when the tub was spinning, but not when it was agitating. They was no water leaking. I took the front panel off and carefully listened while I ran a cycle and the loud sound sounded like it was coming from the drain pump. So I took off the drive belt and noticed that it was glazed and that there was belt material on the drain pump and tub transmission pulleys. I removed the drain pump and... Read more

This $50 part saved me from having to buy my wife a $1000+ oven. Read more

Refrigerator not cooling but freezer works? A failed evaporator fan motor prevents air circulation. This kit includes motor and mounting components.
First, I did online research to find out what could be the problem with these symptoms of cold freezer and warm fridge. I found multiple posts with people going back and forth as far as what to do to fix it. One tread even provided the link to your store with the part number for the evaporator fan motor. So I did the inspection of the motor as suggested by the expert and sure enough it was the evaporator's motor fan that was not working as it should. That is when I immediately follow the link... Fix a microwave that won't start or runs with the door open. This door interlock switch is a common DIY repair taking 15-30 minutes with basic tools.
Checked the three door switches; used ohm meter to see if there was resistance or if a switch was bad. 2 out of 3 switches showed resistance with the ohm meter. The last one tested (of course the last one) NO (normally open) did not show resistance; I.e. the ohm meter reading did not change when the switch was depressed. Appliance parts pros was the only company that had the same model number I was looking for (SZW-V16-FD-63). I ordered the relay switch, 2 days later it arrived (regular... Read more
