I'm not an appliance mechanic and have never worked on a dryer before, but I have worked as an instrument technician and lightly dabbled in HVAC repairs. We moved from natural gas to a new home with propane, so purchased this kit to make the conversion. I am not new to APP, fixed a tub belt on a Maytag dryer in the past. My frig started getting warm so I went onto to one of those "lists" sites and found a appliance repair place. Ordered replacement door seals, assistance picking the seals and speed of shipping was excellent. The installation was about as easy a job as can be, remove old seals, clean the doors and press in the new seals. With that said, I don't believe these are the same quality as factory original seals, the doors do not close as positive as the original and I have an air leak in the freezer door seal allowing condensation and ice to form. Ordered replacement lint screen. When it arrived, I took out the old one and put the new one in the dryer. I am extremely happy with the new lint screen. I tried to find one on Sears website but it was unavailable; it was wonderful to find your website and to find what I needed. The customer service representative was so helpful and pleasant! Even though the fasteners probably only cost a few cents, I had to buy a new mullion for my fridge. $80! $80 because two nylon fasteners were poorly designed. Replacing the part was easy once I paid the *$80* for the new part. Unscrewed the old mullion. Slipped on the new $80 part. Read more
