The retaining brass nut in the center of the burner is an odd size-20 mm which I did not have among my many automotive metric tools. The local Auto Zone though had a 20 mm socket. The parts from AppliancePartsPros.com arrived a day ahead of schedule. (I'm a big APP.com fan.) I removed the metal front door panel, then removed the broken plastic Panel-Facia which houses the handle. Because the buttons and handle trim needed to be transferred from the old Panel-Facia to the new one, I expected that, also being plastic, they may break when making the transfer, so I ordered all of those parts as well, which only drove the cost up about $32. Ordered part at 4:33 on Friday and FedEx dropped it at my door at 9:35 Sat a.m. I did not pay for expedited shipping. Ordered the full hinge piece and an extra bushing. Was able just to slide the dishwasher forward a bit, lift the right side hinge off its seat and pop in the new bushing without disassembling. Fixed! I am retaining the full hinge piece in case of any future door incident but suspect I will never need it Read more

Replaced the drain pump assembly. Took about 90 minutes. Most difficult part was getting to the hoses and clamps in inside the machine at the bottom front. Just had to open the back panel and work inside. About the same difficulty as changing the radiator hoses on an automobile engine. Read more
