Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. When the lens broke the light fell down into the base of the cooktop. I bought a light and lens but for the price I could not go wrong. I cannot believe how fast and easy my order was handled!! Simple fix. Shut off power at breaker box first. Lifted the cooktop, removed four screws from control panel, unplugged old part and inserted the new one.

Removed cook top and took out 12 screws and took glass top off. Removed plated holding all burner switches in place and removed switch and light. Replaced both and put top back on. Also I ordered the parts late Saturday night and they shipped on Monday and arrived Wednesday afternoon, regular shipping. Will used appliance parts pros again when I need any parts.
