My 18+ year old Jennair cooktop, PN CCG2520W was in need of a rebuild b/c of a welded venturi tube on the right front [RF] burner. In order to remove the glass top cover, you MUST remove the venturi tube. To do this you have to DRILL-OUT the venturi tube which requires a new venturi and orifice holder. I purchased a burner and a oven orifice replacement kit from Appliance Parts Pros. I downloaded an installation manual from Whirlpool and followed the instructions. It was pretty easy. The front burner orifices could be replaced by just taking off the burner cover. The back ones required removing the burner diffuser. You will need to reattach the back burner bottom assembies after you remove the diffuser before you unscrew the orifice or it might bend the burner piping causing it to not line up... Read more

Changing out the stovetop orifices from natural gas to propane- First thing, turn off the gas. On this model stove, there are five burners-two burners in the front, two in the back and one in the middle. The front two burners are different than the other three, they are the largest burners. You can use a 11/32 socket with an extension to go down the middle hole of the burner and screw-out the natural gas orifices. Taking the orifices out was easy.
