Crosley Heating Element

• Little to no heat when baking

The delivery of the element was superfast, less than 24 hrs. Unplug the Stove from the receptical! Took a phippips screwdriver and took out the 2 screws holding it, and tilted it upwards a bit and pulled the element out about 3 inches an unhooked the wires. Hooked the wires up to the new element and pushed it back into the holes and put the 2 screws back in and turned the stove on and that was all there was to that. Read more

It's was easy to replace. Unplugged the oven from the wall, unscrew the two screws that hold the element to the back of the oven and pulled it away from the oven. Then just pull off the two wires at the end of the bake element. Install the new one in the revers order, easy. Read more

Number one was turn the power to the dishwasher off. I disconnected the hoses under the sink. The dishwasher had to be pulled out from the cabinet. The old heating element easily came out and the new one put in its place. The instructional video made the repair very easy. Read more

I got online to research what the problem could be and came to realize the infinite switch had probably shorted out when the element broke. PLEASE UNPLUG DRYER FIRST. This was my first attempt at trying to fix my dryer (Maytag SDE515DAYW). Order the element kit Part Number AP4046564. The installation was easier than I thought. Just removed the two front panels and I was able to reach the back of the dryer, under the drum (this is where the heat element was located), disconnected the wires (took pictures first) and removed the two screws that held the heat element.
