If your washer won't advance cycles or overfills, the pressure switch likely failed. This DIY repair restores water level sensing in 15-30 minutes.
First I unplugged the power cord for the washer. I removed the back plate of the control panel. Then removed the knob and unscrewed the screw holding the broken pressure switch. Store that sold the washer could not get the parts needed for 3 weeks due to delivery from factory. I told them I could get them with a week, I did and I was able to get a repairman in to do the job in 2 hours. Thanks to you. I didn't have the tool to replace the springs, that is why I had to get a serviceman in. I did not want to take the chance that the bracket was broken either. Read more
