Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Our washing machine filled then began washing the wife opened the lid to add one more item and it would no longer wash or spin   Chris J. • Lakeland , FL • January 02, 2018

First I checked the circuit breakers and power to the outlet, then next wanted to check the lid switch, but it wasn't where I had found it on older models. I could hear it clicking on and off as I raised and lowered the lid, but it wasn't visible. I drained the tub through a siphon hose to lighten the machine, so I could slide it away from the wall to better see. Couldn't see the switch anywhere and decided it must be hiding in the raised console, but was unsure of how to attack it without... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You 1 no heat on high or low settings and sometimes on medium heat setting 2 no auto cool down   Robert H. • Renton , WA • March 11, 2015

I replaced the cycle switch, fixing the lack of heat. The timer switch replacement fixed the auto cool down. I watched a cycle switch replacement on Youtube, demonstrating removal of the top console, which answered the only question I had about the repair. The timer switch was a hundred bucks. The only thing to be said about that is that it was a lot cheaper than a repairman or replacing the dryer. Read more

The E32 diagnostic code that the Frigidaire washer was throwing after a quick water fill attempt was not in the supplied Data Sheet that came with the washer and Frigidaire would not provide and updated Data Sheet because, "it's a liabiliity issue" was their statement, but they did tell me that the problem was in the Fill Pressure Sensor/Wire Harness or the Main Control Board (the display board). I was looking for a parts sight and found yours. I started to watch all the video tutorials on each part and the "check these connections first video". I am so very happy with your sight and the step by step videos that were the success to being able to do this on my own. Read more
