Removed some screws, opened the top of the wash machine, unplugged some wires to remove the part, plugged the wires back into the mew part, put the new water valve into place, secured the water valve with the screw, put the top back on the wash machine, and replaced all remaining screws! Real Simple! Read more

Opened the washer (details later) and noted the controls and water path. Ordered dispenser bottom and cover and dispenser valve assembly and rubber washers. Removed old water valve and replaced it with new one. Reconnected wiring and water lines. Everything is working fine now. Read more

It is a simple fix with removing the old by disconnecting connecters to the solenoids. removing two screws, disconnect the hoses entering and leaving the dispenser. Installing it is simply a reverse of the removal. Total time was certainly less than 30 minutes. Read more
