Downloaded the Technical Service Guide and followed the instructions for removal of the Door Closure Mechanism. Items the instructions failed to mention: 1. Although they took the trouble to call for removal of a 3/16" Allen head bolt, they referred to the closure mounting bolts as just "bolts". In fact, they were T-25 bolts. Easiest fix in the world! Took a painters putty knife and pried off the panel. Panel popped off and iI just replaced it. Make sure you turn the power off first before you start your repair. Read more

I bought this relay switch and it works great. On the left side of the compressor there is a plastic cover you pry off with a screw driver. The relay switch had one wire plug on it. Just pull the wire off and the pull the relay switch off the compressor. Read more

I replace the water inlet valve in my refrigerator about 8 months ago. About a week ago, the old plastic water line broke. I forgot how the water line connector worked and broke the valve trying to pull it out. I got a new valve and replacement water line, and it went in easily, just like the video said. According to this website, the basket is not compatible with the Idylis but IT IS! This basket is 16" across from handle end to handle end and is absolutely perfect for my small freezer. I swear it is the only replacement for small baskets anywhere and I could not be happier! The delivery seemed almost instantaneous but really took about 2 days. This is a GREAT place for replacement parts. They only need to update the list of freezers that this basket fit. I hope this measurement will help... Read more
