I replaced the defrost thermostat and the defrost timer. That corrected the problem. Be careful when ordering your parts. I put in my model# and they gave me a defrost timer that was incorrect. I had to return at my cost and order the correct one. Don't assume because you put in your model# that the part is correct. Remove old handle: (2) large Phillips-head screws where it attaches to top edge of refrigerator door, back out (1)set screw lower end off handle- needs very small hex wrench. Retain screws: none supplied with new handle. Place new handle in place (need to back out the set screw on bottom of handle to slide it fully into place before tightening).
