I first determined that it was probably the starter relay due to the fact both fans would kick on and run the compressor will kick on and run for about 6 seconds before turning off so I called around auto parts stores on Google and nobody had the part so I bought it from appliancepartspros.com got it the next day install the parts which are very simple. Replaced evaporator heater and housing. Just make sure you also replace the thermostat. If not it is a little challenging to get the wires out of the old thermostat/ heater plug into the new plug. Also if you have the same problem be prepared to have a good heat gun to melt the ice buildup around the evaporator and drain hole. Black handle kit for refrigerator doors. Includes handle and mounting hardware. Replace cracked, broken, or worn handles from frequent use.
Remove old handle: (2) large Phillips-head screws where it attaches to top edge of refrigerator door, back out (1)set screw lower end off handle- needs very small hex wrench. Retain screws: none supplied with new handle. Place new handle in place (need to back out the set screw on bottom of handle to slide it fully into place before tightening). Install (2) screws on top end, and snug the lower setscrew. DONE. Read more
