Replacement mounting screw for dryer panels, brackets, and components. Needed when screws are missing, stripped, or damaged during repairs or disassembly.
Upon examination of the dryer, I noticed that the belt was intact, though a little worn and hard. However, I noticed that the belt had came of the idler pulley. So I put it back on and had the owners try it out on their next load of wash. It, once again failed to keep the drum turning. So I ordered a new belt and idler pulley (order # 8676164). I found it necessary to remove the drum, in order to change out the new pulley. However, while trying to reinstall the drum, we damaged some of the... Read more

This electromechanical timer assembly controls cycle timing for compatible GE ranges and ovens, restoring accurate cook cycles and timer functions. It replaces a worn or non-advancing control to help your appliance complete timed operations reliably. What it does:
I looked up my dryer on this website, then ordered that one. Later put it in myself. There was a nice note in the box telling to move one terminal from the old timer to the new one if it is missing the white wire, and transfer the resistor over to that, which I did and all went well. Dryer automaticly counts-down and turns off by itself now... Read more
This is a flexible seal that fits around the dryer door opening to prevent heated air from escaping the drum during operation. It creates an airtight barrier between the door and the dryer cabinet to maintain proper drying temperatures. Replace this gasket if you notice heat leaking from around the door, clothes taking longer than normal to dry, or the seal appears cracked, torn, or flattened.
Fix a dryer that takes too long to dry clothes or won't heat properly with this heating element. Common solution for extended dry times and no heat issues.
Dryer not heating or producing insufficient heat? This heating element assembly distributes heat throughout the drum. Requires front panel removal to install.
Size: 8-32 t. Includes 12 screws.
Replace stripped, missing, or damaged #8-32 x 1/2 machine screws that secure dryer panels, brackets, and internal components. Restores proper fit.
This roller support holds the dryer drum roller in place to help the drum turn smoothly and stay aligned. Replacing a worn support can reduce noise and wobble and help protect the belt and drum from uneven wear. What it does:
The new roller support wheels helped quite the dryer. The other contributing factor was the outer door frame 'felt bearing' and the rear drum ‘felt-seal’ had a lot of dust, dirt. lint and other contaminants in the fibers. It was vacuumed clean and now the drum turns much easier. In addition, I cleaned the belt and belt-pathway and lubricated the Rollers. Some say not to lube the wheels, but it helped a lot. It doesn't squeal any more. Thank you for the parts! Brian. Read more
Replaces the front console housing the keypad and display on your dryer. Needed when buttons are loose, missing, cracked, or panel is damaged or worn.
Complete door hinge assembly that replaces a worn, damaged, or broken hinge. Restores proper door alignment and secure closing on your dryer.
Replaced the hinge. I was so impressed with this company. I ordered the part around 11 am on a Thursday and by noon on Friday I had my part. I paid about $7 more here for the part then if I'd have used another company. I can't complain since I had my part the next day. I would buy from them again. Read more
Gas dryer won't heat? A faulty igniter prevents gas ignition. This hot surface igniter restores heat in about 30 minutes. Direct-fit replacement part.
After extensive troubleshooting using the wire schematic, it was a simple igniter issue. Ordered an igniter online from another source & they sent the wrong part. Local place had to special order the GE igniter but found it on ApplianceParts for decent price & took about a week for delivery. So glad the units back in service. We were lugging our loads to the in-laws to dry!!! Read more

Dryer skipping cycles or getting stuck? This timer control regulates cycle progression. Common repair when your dryer won't advance or complete cycles properly.
Dryer won't start when door closes? This push-button door switch detects when the door is open or closed, restoring proper operation. Simple fix.
This assembly includes the gas valve and connecting pipe that control the flow of gas to the dryer's burner. It regulates when gas is delivered to the igniter and burner tube during the heating cycle. Replace this assembly if your gas dryer is not heating, heats intermittently, or if the gas valve fails to open properly during operation.
This is a white backsplash-style control panel assembly that mounts at the rear top of the dryer. It houses the control knobs, buttons, and indicator lights used to select drying cycles and settings. Replace this assembly if the panel is cracked, warped, discolored, or if controls are no longer mounting securely.
