This door foam assembly replaces the insulating core inside a refrigerator/freezer door to help restore proper temperature retention and reduce frost buildup. It renews the door's thermal barrier to improve cooling consistency and energy use. What it does:

  • Replaces the factory insulating foam inside the door to help maintain internal temperature
  • Reduces warm air infiltration that can cause frost or icing in the compartment
  • Helps the appliance hold set temperature more consistently for food safety
  • Common symptom: visible cold loss, excess frost, or a soft/compromised door core
