Ordered numerous replacement parts. Started with the tracks which required pulling the washer out of the cabinet to reach the screws. Pushed it back in and re-secured. Then stared on the rack and replaced the rack adjusters and various clips. Everything is straight forward and easy to replace. I originally called a local repair place to have them repair it. I searched for my appliance and the problem. Applianceparts.com was one of the results. There was one fix-it help from a previous customer. I ordered the piece of glass and somehow it arrived at my home the VERY NEXT DAY! I couldn't believe it. So I followed the exact instructions left by the one person that wrote in. • Oven not heating evenly
• Little to no heat when baking
• Element will not heat

I began by turning off the breaker. I then removed the screws securing the bake element. I immediately noticed only one side was wired and the other side was burned off. The wire for the burned off section had fallen through the hole in the back of the oven. I tried fishing it out to no avail. I removed two side trim screws, the side trim pieces, and two screws holding the built-in oven into the wall. I was able to slide the oven out and onto a square stool that was the correct height. The water just sat in bottom of the tub, but the dishes never got wet. The water would drain out at the end of the cycle. I took a chance that it was the circulation pump and not the control panel since everything else seemed to be working. I replaced the circulation pump &motor and the problem was solved. The hardest part was getting the DW out of the cabinet since it was a very tight fit due to the floor tile. The job of replacing the part only took about 15~20 minutes thanks to the repair... Replaced the burner Infinite switches for the burners having the issue. Here are the latest part numbers for this model Maytag. Left rear (LR) and right rear (RR) burners are both 6" and use the same switch. Part # WP3149404. Left front (LF) is an 11 1/2" burner Part# W10167742. Top mounted freezer with bottom refrigerator. Kenmore Elite Shut off the power Remove all food stuff from freezer (placed in ice chest) then shelves. Removed the ice maker, (easy!) 3 screws and unplugged wires. 2 screws in the back panel. Pulled top forward - downward Unplugged wiring harness from back wall of freezer, removed ground wire from panel Pulled fan blade off. After inspecting screen and drain hose with no obvious cause, replaced drain pump. Removal of the pump was very straight forward. 3 screws, 2 electric connections, and 1 hose clamp was all that was needed. Read more

My frig is a year and a half old, Frigidaire with french doors and freezer drawer. It has an upper ice maker for the door in the frig and a bottom ice maker in the freezer drawer. After noticing the flood, I shut off the water supply to the frig and cleaned up the mess. Door gasket was easy to remove and reinstall. Original gasket was penetrated while cleaning food stuff from folds in the seal below the frig doors. (Gasket is very fragile so don't try to expand the folds while cleaning. I used my finger and a paper towel but in hindsight should have used a Q-Tip. Also, when installing the new gasket you have to be sure the seam folds over the edge of the door and doesn't get caught underneath. Read more
