1) I installed 4 ea new Whirlpool 700855K switches. (The old switches had INF-240P-871 stamped on them. 700855K was the cross-referenced P/N.) The installation was easy. There is slight difference in the terminal arrangement: 1) the old switch has raised terminals whereas the new switch has recessed terminals (for safety), and 2) the terminal markings are slightly different: The old switch has L1/L2/P/H1/H2 (5 terminals). • Door won't open after self cleaning cycle

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. My husband and myself didn't agree on which part was the exact problem. He felt it was the valve. I felt it was the ignitor/ orifice. And we both agreed the Harness-Ignitor needed to be replaced. It's was easy to replace. Unplugged the oven from the wall, unscrew the two screws that hold the element to the back of the oven and pulled it away from the oven. Then just pull off the two wires at the end of the bake element. Install the new one in the revers order, easy. Read more

• Gas igniter glows, but will not light
• Won't start

I removed all the individual burners so I could lift the stainless cover to expose the igniter wires. I cleaned all the wire connections and the 4 good igniters and replaced the one bad igniter. Reassembly was easy and everything worked properly when done. Video of repair was helpful and all parts ordered were correct and shipped promptly and I will definitely use AppliancePartsPros again. I replaced the old control panel with a new one. I also changed out the door seal to help prevent the control panel from going bad a second time. It was the heat from the oven getting to the keypad on the control panel that caused it to go bad. Read more

I thought it was the burners and ordered four burners. When they arrived I thought three of them were wrong parts so I ordered three others and scheduled a return of three I had just received.
