This cam assembly kit includes the components that allow the agitator's upper portion to ratchet in one direction during the wash cycle. The cams engage and release to create the back-and-forth agitation motion that cleans clothes. Replace this kit if the agitator spins freely in both directions without gripping, makes clicking or grinding noises, or no longer agitates clothes effectively.
Simple by using 7/16 socket with long extension to remove the bolt and pull the whole agitator out and clean them. Put back in together with new parts. It works fine now. Read more
This water inlet valve controls the flow of water into the washing machine during fill cycles. It uses an electrically operated solenoid to open and close in response to signals from the control board. This cap is a small protective cover used in select appliances. It helps secure and seal its mating component, preventing leaks, debris intrusion, or loosening during normal operation.
Removed the back cover. (Glad I used my power tool to remove all the screws) I then removed the sheared off part of the bolt using drill and easy-out tool. It was a straightforward install of the new bolt. I added a little bit of blue Loctite even though the bolt already had some dry thread sealer. I torqued it down enough to hold everything snug.
