I took the front panel off which exposed the front two shock absorbers. But I could still only replace the front left shock. I could not get access to the one on the right. I then took the back panel off which gave me access to both back shocks and the other front shock. A simple twist and they were done. The longest part of the job was taking the back panel off. Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat. Replaced basket hub assembly under agitator. Agitator would not come off so I had to cut slots in agitator with a dremel tool and use a faucet knob puller tool to pull it up off the shaft. As a result I had to replace the agitator as well. Once I got the agitator off replacing the basket hub was fairly straight forward. I also used the puller to remove the basket hub gear. Read more
