Range Control Board

I googled the error code and symptoms my oven was exhibiting to determine the solution and which parts to order. I needed a new control panel and chose also to replace the overlay that shows on the front of the stove. I could have reused the old one because I turned out to be able to remove it without damaging it. I just kept it in case I damage the new one in the future. I purchased a new igniter for the bake assembly and found that it, unfortunately, did not resolve my problem. I measured the resistance of the different points on the gas valve and it was reading within spec so I then purchased this spark module and it did the trick. My gas range is a Kitchenaid kgsk901sss02. Replaced board. Parts were as described... OEM replacement. Fast shipping. Wife got he range back in record time. Have protection plan with lowes. Replaced Oven Control Board. I already had removed the old part when I ordered the replacement. Part showed up in 48 hours. It took me about two minutes to install the new part. Tested to make sure it worked, then another 30 seconds to screw the back panel of the stove on. Read more

Called an appliance guy, who said the control panel needed to be changed and quoted me $600. Luckily I Googled the model number and found this website. After seeing that several other people had had the same problem and that the membrane was recommended (not the control panel), I took a chance and ordered the part. I followed troubleshooting guide and repair videos offered on website, ordered replacement oven control board and reinstalled unit using only a 1/4 inch nut driver. Easy fix for do it yourselfer in 15-20 minutes. Make certain to have model number of appliance when ordering. Parts are somewhat pricey but AppliancePartsPros. were much more reasonable than local parts supply houses or other sources plus they offered 1 year replacement even on electrical stuff. Read more

Replaced the main control board on a Thermador oven model POD301J/01 after we got an E115 error and the top broiler would come on no matter what setting you put it on and wouldn't turn off and would overheat. Took me about 30 mins total to replace after taking pics to make sure everything went back as it was. So far so good and it's working again! Read more

Unplugged the stove. Removed the back of the control panel. Removed and replaced the membrane keyboard and the main PCB. Reassembled the stove and everything was back to normal.
