I replaced the part by popping off the plastic frame and removing several easily-accessable screws. Three small electrical plugs had to be popped off too. It was a very simple repair. Disconnect the power to the fridge. First remove the control panel by removing the one screw underneath and then insert a screwdriver into the small square hole underneath in order to pull the lower left of the control panel towards you. 1. Purchased a new Facade.
