Refrigerator Gasket & Seal

I checked the freezer and found the door gasket was damaged. When the parts arrived, I checked them for a good fit and the attachment method. Due to past experience of replacing door gaskets, I was expecting a lot of screws that would have to be removed and replaced. I purchased a freezer gasket + key// from appliancepartspros.com //easy to order. I did not need to lock up my freezer but thought it might help the gasket seat (good thought). Instructions are very dumb, but it's an easy fix. Loosen all the nuts that hold the metal bars that hold the old gasket. (Loosen. Don't take them off!) Pull off the old gasket. Slip the new into place all the way around. Get the corners in position, middles can be loose. Tighten the corners, then work the middles into place and tighten as you go. Done. Read more
