I took the plastic vent piece off the front of the microwave & removed the charcoal filter & put the new one in. Made sure that while I had it open I cleaned all the built up grease out of it before closing it back up. Took the 2 grease filters from underneath the microwave & replaced with the new ones. • Door won't open after self cleaning cycle

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I previously ordered the heating element, thermostat, and fuse. Also the rear drum rollers.
