First, just for safety sake, unplug the unit. I took the three screws out of the latch end of the door and pried both the inner (black) frame off and the outer (white frame) being careful not to crack the inner frame as I wanted to reuse it. I removed the screws holding the old handle on and reused them to fit the new handle to the new frame. I then had to take the glass from the broken frame, clean it, and reuse it on the new frame. Found the door easier to work on if it was removed from the microwave oven. That's easy - just lift and pull off. With the door flat on a table, took it apart, per a YouTube file. A broad knife putty knife (and a gentle touch) are critical. Unscrewed the "crumbs" of the failed handle. Reused the original screws (rather than the longer screws that came with the replacement handle). Attached the new handle. Put the door back together. Clicked the door back on the microwave. I used a putty knife to remove the black plastic cover on the inside of the door to expose the screws to the handle. Then using a Phillips screw driver, I removed the top and bottom screws to remove the handle. The bottom screw was stripped so I had to us a pair of pliers to grip the broken plastic handle to remove the screw. Replaced handle and tightened screws, snapped ring back in place. Had to take apart the microwave door per the appliance parts pro video to replace the handle. Be careful when removing the door liner and opening the inner and outer door. Online instructions say to carefully remove the door inner facing in order to acces the handle screws. Easily done with a couple butter knives and some patience. Popped right off. But then there was a 2 piece inner "door" still in the way. Removed two more screws then carefully pried it off the plastic clips and swung out of way. Removed handle screws and old handle. New handle is metal not plastic and uses supplied machine screws. Installed new handle and re-assembled. Read more

Replaced top and bottom plastic piece between s.s. handle bar and door. Very quick and easy. A bit pricey, but worth it. Read more

I took the door off via the top torx screw pin, then pryed apart the plastic trim piece that surrounds the inner window pane with the mesh screen. I removed the inside window panel which was a little tricky, and replaced the door handle. I did it with nothing more than a flathead, Phillips, and a torx. Had to remove door ,take door apart to get to screws that hold handle on , was a little harder then I first thought , but got it done , save lots of money from not calling repair man , service calls around here are around 100 dollars plus parts Read more

Replaced it. The instructions did not come with the Handle and a picture I had of the parts did not tell me. I used a putty knife to removed the ring around the door and once that was off could see where the rest of the door was held in with snaps. Using the putty knife again I moved the rest of the door, to expose the handle. Unscrew the screws holding the handle placed the new one on and re-screwed it. Needles to say I was furious. The thing is practically new. I went online and ordered the parts ,they arrived in two days. Any sensible person would have looked to see if this was a job hey could do before ordering parts. I always go to How-to online to find out how to fix things , sure enough there was a shower video showing how to take the microwave door apart. I followed directions, got the door off and replaced the handle within an hour. SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!! Read more
